Dr. Harris is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in hand and microvascular surgery.He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Illinois,and continued his training at Northwestern University where he served as a general and plastic surgery resident.He completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of California-San Francisco.He received a Michael Mason Hand Fellowship from Northwestern University. He has earned Certificates of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.

He is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at Northwesrern University,and is a member of multiple professional societies.He has published articles and book chapters,and has given lectures and presentations concerning hand and microvascular surgery.

He has been selected as one of the best doctors in America.
